As part of the company’s strategy to expand in the GCC region, OP has signed several important agreements in the Kingdom of Bahrain with its strategic partner, Aqua Technology Transfer. These agreements mark the establishment of a permanent presence for OP in Bahrain through the AQUAOP joint venture.
AQUAOP represents OP’s first steps into regional expansion, following our proven model of knowledge transfer and capability building. This approach ensures the development of local expertise and strengthens operational readiness in line with international best practices.
The signed agreements include the implementation of the first joint project of this new alliance, providing oil spill response services to the main downstream oil and gas operator in Bahrain for a period of five years. This milestone reinforces OP’s commitment to enhancing emergency preparedness and response capabilities across the region.
