OP

After more than 15 years of presence in the Omani market, we have continued to strengthen our proven operational track record and forge long-term partnerships with our customers. OP is an Omani Registered Company that was formed in May 2007 and commenced operations in June 2008. Initially, it was established as an international joint-venture company between a group of Omani investors and world leaders in oil spill response, BMES UK, along with regional spill response leaders BE-Petrosafe JV.

Upon its establishment, OP initiated a know-how and ownership transfer plan that spanned over a period of 10 years, with the aim of becoming a fully-owned Omani company by 2017. This plan was successfully completed in 2017 through the Company Ownership Omanisation (COO) program, resulting in OP becoming 100% Omani owned.

Furthermore, in 2019, OP attained the status of being a Riyada Registered SME company.

The company specializes in oil spill response and environmental consultancy services, boasting a management team comprising international experts and national veterans. Our client base encompasses government agencies, government-owned and private sector companies operating in the maritime and petroleum sectors, including onshore and offshore oil and gas operators, as well as various industrial facilities.
