OP is approved by Environment Authority for the provision of Environmental Response Services which includes response to Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) incidents from a diverse range of sources.
In a discipline that requires the greatest attention to details, the use of specialized equipment and a high level of training and expertise, OP has proven time and again its ability to respond promptly and effectively to different levels of hazardous material incidents.
Containment and collection of hazardous materials, arrangements for disposal of the waste are all conducted by OP under the strictest safety procedures and in close cooperation with our clients and the local authorities.
Since 2008, OP has successfully responded to numerous HAZMAT incidents in major ports and industrial facilities.
Our HAZMAT response services also include container cross-stuffing for most International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Classes, with a few exceptions where local regulations require special arrangements through the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA).
